NETWORK SUPPORT OFFICER
Job Description
Acts as the focal point to resolve operational problems escalated by the helpdesk team .
Network Users’ and Computers’ Support and Management Management and monitoring of backup and restore operations using Veritas Backup EXEC solution.
Daily update of the antivirus software on PCs at various locations.
Development of utility programs.
Management of the e-mail Messaging System in the organization.
Installation of windows operating systems, anti-virus software and third party applications
Experience & Skills
Minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering
1 -2 years in computer networking
Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
Network Administration and knowledge of E-mail Messaging Software
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be attentive to details and be analytical
