Managing Director

Our client is a start up Construction Company in Nigeria with ongoing projects, they are urgently looking for a Managing Director for a period of 18-24 months to manage a contract worth USD $ 80 million.

In addition the client has various other projects in the pipeline in excess of USD $ 100 million.

We are looking for a well-seasoned MD with the following profile:
· Strong leader
· Vast managerial experience, 10 years +
· Does not have to be within the construction industry, but would be a plus, can be from finance background, any large industry would do
· Salary 20, 000 US$ per month + expat package, accommodation, flights, car, 2 year contract

The Managing Director, a key role opened to a confident person with clout capable of leading his team to deliver, will head the four divisions below. Ideal candidate must be a strategist with a vast managerial experience and be able to manage the following divisions:

· Engineering and Construction Division, which will be responsible for Project, Construction and Site Management across the company's line of business starting with building construction extending to Highways, Water, other infrastructure and complex projects. It will include a central planning and scheduling team, Plant and Equipment Operations and Maintenance and a Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Procurement) Team

· Commercial: This division will generally be involved with Contract Administration, Cost Estimation, Preparation of Bids and Subcontract Management
· Business Development: A central marketing and Sales team targeting structured along the lines of different customer sectors
· Business Support: Providing Administration, HR, Accounts and Finance Services to the organization.
