Support Engineer –SEN 001
Purpose of the Job
· Provide technical support to Computers and related systems
· Technical fault analysis and troubleshooting.
· Monitoring and verification of service processes – i..e. Backups, patch distribution
· Providing technical support to a wide range of users – internal and external;
· Assemble workstation and server hardware
· Install and configure workstation software
· Monitoring network security and alerts;
· Coordinate and deploy corporate IT projects as required.
· Managing network IP addresses;
· Supporting desktop applications;
· Assist in testing, implementation and troubleshooting of server systems
· Support end-users on Ms Office, Win 2K/XP, Outlook, Lotus Notes and VPN remote access.
· Resolve hardware / software issues on desktop / laptop PC, network printer.
· Administer and maintain server and LAN network equipment to ensure high availability and high performance of the systems.
· Track and deploy Windows patch and update to maintain baseline of IT security standard and policies.
· Handle IT training, provide necessary guidance to end user and manage user request.
· Maintain and update technical support document, IT report and policy.

Qualification:
· Good degree in Computer Engineering or similar field.
· MUST be Cisco Certified.
· At least 2 years technical experience.

Required Knowledge and other Experience:
· Good Experience in administration and implementation of Windows 2003 Servers / Active Directory and MS Exchange 2003 server.
· Good knowledge in installation, maintenance, administration of LAN / WAN infrastructures, such like TCP/IP networking, MPLS/DSL connectivity and Cisco equipment.
· Experience with Wireless equipment is an added advantage.
